Huawei Backup Box B1 – Three-Phase Systems
Part No: HUA-BACKUP-BOX-B1Category: Energy Storage System Accessory
The Huawei Backup Box B1 enables automatic detection and seamless switchover between grid-connected and backup operation, providing reliable backup power for three-phase residential PV and battery storage systems.
Designed to work alongside compatible Huawei hybrid inverters, the Backup Box intelligently manages the system’s operating state to ensure continuity of supply during grid outages.
How It Works
Normal operation: The inverter operates in a grid-tied state
Grid outage detected: The Backup Box automatically signals the inverter to switch to off-grid (backup) mode, supplying power to designated backup loads
Grid restoration: The system automatically transitions back to grid-tied operation once supply is restored
This automated process ensures uninterrupted power to critical loads without manual intervention.
Key Benefits
Automatic grid failure detection and recovery
Seamless transition between grid-tied and off-grid operation
Reliable backup power for selected circuits
Designed specifically for three-phase residential systems
Fully integrated with Huawei inverter architecture

AL13 Power Tower
Modular, Cost-Effective Vertical Wind Energy
The AL13 Power Tower product line is the most cost-efficient wind solution in the Flower Turbines portfolio, making it an ideal choice for budget-conscious commercial and community projects without compromising performance.
Designed for on-site assembly using standard professional tools, the Power Tower is easy to transport and install. Larger stacks may require a small crane. Each tower is built from 1-metre modular sections, allowing flexible system heights and scalable output.
Modular Design & Superior Wind Capture
Power Towers feature anodised aluminium blades stacked at alternating 90-degree angles, enabling exceptional wind capture from all directions. This configuration allows the turbine to start generating at even lower wind speeds than the Flower Tulip range, while benefiting from the same internal aerodynamic advancements and patented Bouquet Effect when deployed in groups.
Standard stacks are supplied in 2, 4, 6, or 8-module configurations, with 8 modules offering the best economy of scale.
Custom stack heights of 3, 5, or 7 modules are available on request (not included in standard online packages), although balanced stacking in even multiples is recommended for most installations.
Stabilisation & Structural Requirements
Stacks of 4 modules or more require a stabiliser pole, fitted with an upper bearing for long-term reliability
One stabiliser pole can support up to two Power Tower stacks
All bearings require annual inspection
Electronics & Performance Optimisation
6- or 8-module stacks are supplied with:
5 kW electronics for low-wind areas
10 kW electronics for higher-wind locations
Generator sizing is selected based on stack height, wind conditions, and bouquet configuration
These wind turbines are around 9 meters total height. Blades are 8 meters high and 1.7 meters in diameter. They come with a generator rated at 10,000 watts, and a charge controller.
Key Features
Modular vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) design
Ultra-low cut-in wind speed

3M Tulip Turbine Installation Guide
3-Metre Flower Tulip Wind Turbine
Our 3-Metre Flower Tulip Turbines deliver a robust, high-performance wind energy solution in a compact, visually striking design. Suitable for homes, commercial buildings, and community installations, these turbines can be installed either at ground level or on structurally suitable flat roofs.
Thanks to Flower Turbines’ patented Bouquet Effect, performance increases as turbines are installed together—meaning each turbine produces more energy when operating as part of a cluster. The standard finish is white, blending seamlessly into both urban and architectural environments.
Designed for Optimal System Sizing
The 3-metre turbine has been engineered so that five units pair optimally with a 5 kW inverter. This ensures:
Balanced system design
Maximum usable energy output
Efficient inverter utilisation
This makes the 3M Tulip an excellent choice for modular, scalable wind installations.
Strong-Roof & Ground Installation Ready
With its 3-metre blade height and reinforced design, the 3M Tulip is specifically suited for stronger roof structures where additional load capacity is available. It is equally effective when installed at ground level using a metal base fixed to concrete foundations.
Key Features
2-bladed Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for omni-directional wind capture
Ultra-low cut-in wind speed for generation in light wind conditions

FT 2M-Lite Flower Turbine
The FT 2M-Lite Flower Turbine is a visually striking, medium-scale vertical-axis wind turbine designed for commercial, micro-grid, and hybrid solar-wind applications. Standing just over 3 metres (≈9.8 ft) tall, it delivers reliable wind generation in compact spaces where traditional turbines are unsuitable.
Manufactured in the United States, the FT 2M-Lite combines architectural design with high performance and long-term durability.
It can be installed:
On structurally suitable flat roofs (subject to civil/structural engineer approval)
On the ground using a concrete foundation and pole mount
A battery is not included, allowing flexibility to integrate with existing or bespoke energy storage systems.
Ideal Applications
Supplementary wind generation alongside commercial or residential solar PV
Hybrid solar-wind systems for improved year-round generation
Micro-grids and off-grid projects
Sites where wind complements solar output during low-light or winter conditions
Thanks to Flower Turbines’ patented Bouquet Effect, installing multiple turbines together significantly increases total output—meaning the more turbines deployed, the greater the collective performance.
Key Features
2-bladed Vertical Axis Wind Turbine (VAWT) for omni-directional wind capture
Extremely low cut-in wind speed for generation in light winds
Bouquet Effect technology delivering substantial performance gains in clustered installations
Quiet operation with an architectural, visually appealing design
Suitable for grid-tied or off-grid systems

Gateway electrical wiring for full house backup - 3ph
£365.00 + VAT
The package includes the electrical work required to in the property to connect an EPS Gateway for full house back-up
Please note: This product is only available to purchase together with a professionally installed system.
An EPS Gateway setup provides a reliable and safe way to power your home or business during a grid outage. Installed at the main power supply point, the automatic changeover (transfer) switch allows you to disconnect from the public utility grid and connect to an alternative backup power source such as solar battery storage or a generator.
How an EPS Gateway setup Works
Normal operation – The switch connects your property to the main utility grid, supplying electricity as usual.
During a power cut – The automatic switchover will switch to backup mode, safely isolating your wiring from the grid to prevent back-feeding into utility lines.
Connecting to backup power – The switch redirects your circuits to a backup source, such as a solar inverter with battery storage or a generator.
Inverter response – If using a solar inverter, it automatically detects grid failure and begins supplying stored energy from your solar batteries.
Returning to mains power – Once the grid is restored, you manually switch back to reconnect with the utility supply.
