Please note this panel comes pre-wired for a 12V battery connection and will require re-wiring for 24V.

The Data Cabinets combine all the features of a premium data cabinet including the aesthetically pleasing design, without the price-point to match.
The Data Cabinets are available in various configurations and are supplied fully assembled. Each cabinet utilises a ventilated top and four 19β adjustable front and rear mounting posts. The cabinets feature lift-off sides and a lockable door for maximum access to the internal equipment, with cable access in the base for convenient routing of network cables. The side panels can be fitted with cabinet locks. The cabinet frameworks are finished in black with aΒ toughened glass lockable front door

A critical load sub-board (also known as a critical load panel) is a dedicated electrical panel that supplies power only to your essential circuits during an outage. Instead of backing up your entire property, it prioritises vital appliances such as refrigerators, lighting, Wi-Fi, medical equipment, and communication devices, making your backup power system more efficient and cost-effective.
How EPS Setup Works with a Critical Load Sub-Board
Separate Critical Load Panel Installation β Essential circuits are transferred from your main consumer unit to a dedicated critical load panel, ensuring backup power is directed only where needed.
Power Source Switching β A manual or automatic transfer switch (ATS) controls the supply. In normal operation, the panel runs from the grid. During a power cut, it disconnects from the grid and connects to your battery inverter or generator.
Battery & Inverter Integration β Solar batteries store energy and the inverter converts DC to AC power, supplying only the critical load panel during an outage. Batteries recharge from solar panels, the grid, or a generator.
Load and System Sizing β You select which circuits are critical based on the battery and inverter capacity. Typical loads include refrigeration, Wi-Fi, lighting, and medical devices. This targeted setup reduces battery size and cost compared to whole-home backup.
Smart Load Control (Optional) β Advanced systems may include smart load panels (e.g., Span, Lumin) for real-time monitoring and control, allowing you to manage loads directly from your phone or computer.

A manual switchover setup provides a safe and reliable way to power your home or business during a grid outage. By installing a manual changeover (transfer) switch at the propertyβs main supply point, you can easily switch from the public utility grid to an alternative backup source such as solar battery storage or a generator.
How a Manual Switchover Works
Normal operation β The changeover switch connects your property to the main utility grid for everyday electricity use.
During a power cut β You manually flip the switch to backup mode. This safely isolates your homeβs wiring from the grid, preventing dangerous back-feed into utility lines.
Backup power supply β Once isolated, the switch connects your circuits to your chosen backup source, such as a solar inverter with battery storage or a generator.
Automatic inverter support β If connected to a solar inverter, it will detect grid failure and begin supplying electricity from stored solar or battery power.
Restoring grid power β When the utility grid is restored, simply flip the switch back to reconnect to mains power.
