Energy suppliers are offering payments to end users. This can reduce electrical consumption at certain times. In the event of a power failure, whole house backup acts as a UPS. This allows operation OFF grid until grid supply is restored. The battery can be charged off peak for discharge during peak hours for maximum saving.
Effective May 1st, 2024, please note that the GivEnergy Gateway is now only required for home backup purposes. When installing without a Gateway please use GIV-GM120CT-P. This energy is only required when installing without a gateway.

Regarding the product warranty, as of 11 September, GivEnergy's residential battery storage system will no longer offer a 5-year warranty with the option of extending it to 10 years. Instead, all residential batteries, inverters, and AIO units will come with a standard 12-year warranty.
