Note: For systems with multiple inverters, an additional RS-485 expansion kit may be required to connect all inverters to the energy meter and communication bus. A 10m RS-485 cable is included for connecting the inverter to the meter and linking inverters together.

How Export Limitation Works
With this kit, you can limit the system’s AC export power to a value agreed with your local Distribution Network Operator (DNO). For example:

A 100kWp PV system with 85kW of inverters could be limited to 75kW AC export power if required by the DNO.

During periods of high self-consumption (e.g., weekdays), no limitation is applied, allowing maximum on-site energy use.

During high generation/low consumption periods, the system will automatically reduce export, ensuring compliance while the impact on annual generation is minimal.
