It has a high-temperature ceramic enclosure, reducing the risk of an arc-fault condition spreading to surrounding combustible materials and developing into a fire. The ArcBox prevents accumulation of moisture around the connection, which could lead to corrosion and a future arcing risk.  The ArcBox contains the arc, massively reducing the chance of a fire spreading to other combustible materials nearby such as roof battens or membranes. Available Accessories The suitable mounting bracket for batten thickness is between 22-25mm. Once the bracket has been hooked onto the batten the ArcBox simply clips on to the bracket, keeping the ArcBox securely in place.
